Katharine served in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission and graduated from BYU in Music, Dance, Theater. While at BYU she performed with the Young Ambassadors, traveling throughout Southeast Asia and North Africa. She married Christian but 5 years later, he died of heart complications. They have three beautiful, energetic girls. Christian’s experience with same-sex attraction and her brother’s suicide have given Katharine an opportunity share her belief that same-sex attraction is nothing to be ashamed of. It doesn’t have to define a person’s life and can offer valuable experiences and lessons if one is open to them.
