Dawn is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a 2 year mission to the England Manchester mission. Previous church service includes 2nd counselor in the Elder’s quorum, Scoutmaster, High Priest group instructor, High Priest group 2nd assistant, ward preparedness coordinator, and is currently a ward missionary. Dawn has been married for 44 years to his high school sweetheart. They have 4 daughters and 18 grandchildren. Dawn was in the construction industry for 25 years and built the log home they live in. As an advocate, Dawn has helped mentor individuals in the LGBT+ community and has spoken to groups to help attendees find sense of self and belonging.
