Dana strives to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and minister to God’s children wherever the Lord calls her to serve. A southern California native, she and her husband have 3 amazing adult children, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and grandson whom they love with all their hearts. Dana’s youngest child experiences gender dysphoria and identifies as transgender. Dana’s love of the Savior and nearly two decades of teaching early morning seminary in southern California taught her to see others through the Savior’s eyes. Dana and her husband struggled navigating the complexities of the LGBTQ+ community and balancing contraries while staying true to their abiding testimony of the Savior and His gospel. Attending the North Star Conference in 2021 opened the eyes of their understanding and blessed them with increased wisdom. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, peace and healing filled their souls.

Serving as a Relief Society president, Dana accepts others where they are and helps them come unto Christ, feel His love for them, learn to trust the Lord with all their heart, and walks together with them on the covenant path.

A sum cum laude graduate of BYU-Idaho in computer information technology, Dana shares her knowledge, skills and abilities with North Star International as Vice President of IT and Web Development.
